Activities - Summary of the Association’s achievements since its establishment

During the year 2002 the first contacts with the Wodaabe groups were established. Attending their numerous petitions it was decided to help in the most basic necessities, such as the lack of water and schooling. From then on, the necessary economic resources and the different work methods were taken into consideration.

Since the the following works and collaborations have taken place:
 
 
   
  Calebasse and Elletel (protective item)         Saga (table where women display their belongings)
 
- Delivery of medicines to the Regional Hospital of Agadez and several clinics around the country.
- The Association participates economically in the I and II Assemblée Général Peuls Wodaabe du Niger.
- Financing in the scholaritzation of different Wodaabe groups.
- Donation to the Association des Handicapeés Locomoteurs de Agadez and Niamey.
- Contribution in the purchase of food, cows and goats for different Wodaabe groups.
- Contribution to Sor Brigitte's orphanage Fraternité Notre Dame in Niamey.
- Organitzation of three campaignes of  the "Project against Blindness" in collaboration with the Barraquer Foundation, Wodaabe-Niger Association, PNSO (Programe National de Santé Oculaire), and the Hôpital National de Niamey.

Due to the support and actions of our Association more than 15.400 people together with their herds have safe water supply.
 
As consequence, schools have been created in several settlements: Foudouk, Ingaga, Egharaf, Taggoudoum, Izerane I and Shinagoro.
